North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to announce the addition of Jessie Little, MD, to its esteemed Pediatrics Clinic in Harrison, Arkansas. Dr. Little is a dedicated pediatrician who specializes in providing exceptional care for infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring that the health and well-being of her young patients are always prioritized.
“I strive to treat each child like I would want my own to be treated; with compassion and understanding,” Dr. Little explains. “I understand how hard it is to watch your child be sick. I strive to calm parents’ fears by explaining my thought process throughout my evaluations. I am always happy to assess any problem, big or small.”
Her journey into pediatrics began at a young age, rooted in her natural inclination to care for others and her fascination with the human body. Dr. Little earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Ouachita Baptist University in 2015, followed by her medical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, culminating in her residency at Arkansas Children’s Hospital from 2021 to 2024.
A notable achievement in Dr. Little’s career is her development of a widely distributed breastfeeding education video at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, which aims to support parents and healthcare providers in promoting infant health.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the American Medical Women’s Association, Dr. Little is committed to staying at the forefront of pediatric care. She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRT), and Stop the Bleed.
Dr. Little and her family were drawn to Harrison for its genuine kindness and close-knit community. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time outdoors and capturing special moments through photography with her husband, Jeb, and their three children.
Reflecting on her practice, Dr. Little states, “As a pediatrician, I find immense satisfaction in witnessing my patients’ growth and supporting them through their challenges. I am devoted to promoting healthy lifestyles through nutrition, physical activity, and nurturing thriving children. Advocating for their well-being is my passion.”
