Thereafter, she became board-certified in Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Following her mother, Dr. Hui-Jun Song, who practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbs in China and the United States for more than 30 years, Jia learned secret prescriptions handed down in her family.
