Dr. Jill Buterbaugh, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, CNE, CME, a dedicated family nurse practitioner committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care across the lifespan has been providing primary care services at the Everett Family Health Center since 2020. With a robust background in advanced practice nursing and education, Dr. Buterbaugh enriches patient care and professional development within the Bedford community and surrounding areas.
Dr. Buterbaugh earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and holds board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, she is credentialed as a Certified Nurse Educator and Certified Medical Examiner. She specializes in comprehensive primary care services for all ages, including preventive health, chronic disease management, women’s health, adolescent care, commercial drivers physicals, and geriatric wellness. Her extensive educational foundation enhances her ability to deliver evidence-based care and effective health interventions.
At the Everett Family Health Center, Dr. Buterbaugh is known for her personalized approach to patient care—conducting thorough physical exams, managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, and addressing women’s and children’s health needs. She focuses on collaborative care planning, patient education, and wellness coaching, empowering individuals to take charge of their health and achieve lasting well-being.
Beyond clinical duties, Dr. Buterbaugh is dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses. She is the Nurse Practitioner Program Director and the Family Nurse Practitioner Program Coordinator at Frostburg State University. She supervises advanced practice nursing students during hands-on labs, and develops training curricula that integrate the latest best practices in family health. Her dual role as clinician and educator enhances both patient care and staff expertise at the center.
In addition to her experience in primary care, throughout her career Dr. Buterbaugh has gained experience in telehealth services, cardiology, general/vascular surgery, long-term care, wound care, and hospice services. She continues to share her knowledge through publications and conference lectures. Her vision aligns with Everett Family Health Center’s mission to offer accessible, uplifting, and expert-driven care that supports whole-family health.
