Dr. Dalton is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience in child and adolescent behavioral health. He serves as the President and CEO of Damar Services, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Recognized as one of the largest nonprofits in Indiana, Damar Services, Inc. serves children and adults challenged by autism and developmental and behavioral disabilities. It continues its commitment to serving both its clients and the families and caregivers who surround them.

Academically, Dr. Dalton holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Anderson University and a Master of Arts (MA) degree from Spalding University. He graduated first in his class with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from Spalding University, after which he went on to serve his residency and postdoctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Throughout the years, he has served as a clinical consultant, evaluator, researcher, and administrator. He worked as a private consultant/psychologist at Dalton and Associates, LLC, the Chief Operating Officer at Lutheran Child and Family Services, a child psychologist at Indianapolis Psychiatric Associates, a special education consultant at Indianapolis Public Schools, a clinical psychologist at Children’s Hospital, a clinical supervisor at Bellewood Home for Children, and as a diagnostic/assessment counselor at Jefferson County Public Schools.

With expertise proven helpful to a much broader group of people, Dr. Dalton is the Founder, Chairperson, and Faculty Member of IN-AJSOP. It is a professional association of individuals and organizations that, in their daily work, respond to youth who have caused sexual harm.

Clinical psychology is a broad branch of psychology that focuses on diagnosing and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Some of the more common disorders that might be treated include learning disabilities, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Licensed clinical psychologists meet with patients to identify problems – emotional, mental and behavioral – in their lives. Through observation, interviews and tests, they aim to diagnose any existing or potential disorders.
