He then went on to complete his residency at the University of Maryland in the Department of Internal Medicine and continued on with a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center at Jacksonville.
In 1996, he set his roots in Sarasota, working in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Doctor’s Hospital. In 2000, he began working in the ER at Fawcett Memorial Hospital and then added coverage in the ER at Englewood Community Hospital in 2007.
In 2009, Dr. Aristimuño and Dr. Mason purchased the Sarasota Medical Center, where today they both give the residents and guests of the Sarasota area quality, efficient, and comprehensive health care.
