Holding a license to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Amodio has admitting privileges at Glen Cove Hospital, Huntington Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, North Shore University Hospital Syosset, Northern Westchester Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center, Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, Plainview Hospital, South Shore University Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital.

As for his academic appointment, he serves as a Professor of Radiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
