Graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2001, Dr. Brunner earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2006. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in radiology at Baylor College of Medicine / New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2008, and his residency in body radiology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2011.
Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in emergency radiology within the Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2013, and completed his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Oakland in 2016.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and emergency radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
On a professional level, Dr. Brunner is an active member of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
Teaching students, he serves as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
