A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Farella works with patients at his private practice – Westchester Center for Cosmetic Surgery – with offices in Mount Kisco, Riverdale, and White Plains, New York. He specializes in cosmetic surgery, including facial rejuvenation and body contouring.
Although he performs most procedures in his own same-day surgery center, he is credentialed to provide surgery at local community hospitals. He also serves as the Director of the Northeast Ambulatory Surgery Center PC, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at New York Medical College.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Farella received his medical degree from the New York Medical College, and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Westchester County Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident and received honors recognition by the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. He continued his professional training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
On a professional level, he is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Westchester Society of Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Surgical Society of New York Medical College.
Furthermore, Dr. Farella has received wide-spread recognition for his participation in the international, philanthropic organization known as Healing the Children. Under his supervision and at his own expense, a professional surgical staff, together with him, personally performs reconstructive surgery for children in under-developed countries.
