In 1996, he obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He then went on to perform his residency in general surgery 1996 – 2002 and then in thoracic surgery at the University of Louisville in 2002 and 2004, respectively.
With over 16 years of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in thoracic and cardiac surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, an American surgical organization devoted to surgery of the chest.
Attributing his success to supportive staff and grateful patients, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
