Dr. John M. Steinberg
Committed to providing outstanding dental care, Dr. Steinberg has built his practice on integrity, compassion, and excellence. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and taught at the dental school as a Clinical Instructor for two years before entering private practice. He has also completed hands-on courses in both implant and cosmetic dentistry, providing his patients with comprehensive care.
Dr. Steinberg belongs to various study clubs presenting and discussing exceptional care. What’s more, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Macomb Dental Society, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Northern California Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. Furthermore, he volunteers his time to Meals on Wheels, which provides home delivered meals to people in need.
Happily married since 1986, Dr. Steinberg and his wife have two wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, skiing, golfing, and playing tennis. He loves being outdoors and believes that fitness is the key to quality of life.
Dr. Esmeralda Paluka
Dr. Paluka was born and raised in Albania. At the age of 18, she moved to Italy to pursue her studies. She earned her first Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Perugia in Italy in 2010. She graduated with magna cum laude and was the youngest doctor to graduate in her class.
Later that year, she moved to Michigan to join the love of her life. As she was preparing to take the board exams, she volunteered for two and a half years at St. Vincent De Paul outreach dental clinic, helping to serve the underserved population of Detroit by providing dental care. It was there that she met Dr. Steinberg. After working together, they realized that they shared the same passion for exceptional dentistry. Dr. Paluka found a great mentor and a caring and loving professional who put his heart and soul into the work he did. The two kept in touch during the time she continued her studies at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, where she earned her second dental degree in May of 2016. Soon after, Dr. Paluka joined Dr. Steinberg’s practice.With a very good knowledge in prosthodontics and dental materials, she stays up to date with continuing education courses to provide the best care for her patients.
On a more personal note, Dr. Paluka is married and has a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling. Moreover, she is fluent in Albanian, Italian, and English.
Dr. Gregory J. Young
Dr. Young has gone on to distinguish himself as a leading expert in implant dental care. Since his training at the world-renowned Misch International Implant Institute, he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education with some of the best implant clinicians in the world.
He was recognized at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s 2006 Annual Meeting as an Associate Fellow of the Academy. At the time, he was one of only 407 dentists that held this distinguished membership. He was also selected to be a mentor to other doctors seeking fellowship certification.
Board-certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, Dr. Young also holds special certification in intravenous conscious sedation from Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Becker.
He and his wife, Sandy, have been married for more than 35 years. They have two daughters and are the proud grandparents of their grandchildren.
