Dr. Mostafa, a board-certified podiatrist, practices at New Jersey Foot and Ankle Associates, LLC in North Brunswick, New Jersey, which he joined in 2014. There, he treats all foot and ankle conditions in patients of all ages, as well as foot and ankle reconstruction after traumatic injury. 

The doctor also provides his services at Brick Foot & Ankle Center in Brick Township, New Jersey. His scope of practice includes a broad spectrum of conditions such as total ankle replacements, foot and ankle trauma, severe flat foot deformities, lateral ankle ligament reconstruction and ankle arthroscopy, Charcot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques in high-risk patients. What’s more, he is uniquely qualified to detect the early stages of diseases that exhibit warning signs in the lower extremities, such as diabetes, arthritis, and cardiovascular disease, as well as can manage foot conditions that may pose an ongoing threat to a patient’s overall health.

On the subject of his academic background, Dr. Mostafa earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Pennsylvania College Of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. He then went on to complete his training at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is one of the most prestigious reconstructive foot & ankle surgery programs in the country.

While at Mount Auburn, he received an academic appointment and was named a Clinical Fellow of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. During his training, he received extensive surgical training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of foot and ankle pathology with a focus on sports medicine and total joint replacement. 

A Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Mostafa is double board-certified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, whose mission is to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by the advancement of the art and science of podiatric surgery.

Every weekend, they visit the animals, have family dinners on the property, and just enjoy the beauty. It is their little escape from reality.
