Dr. Peralo earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City, New York in 1987. He then went on to complete his residency in colon & rectal surgery at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, New Jersey. He also completed his residency in general surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York City, New York.
Dr. Peralo is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Peralo is board-certified in colon & rectal surgery by the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery and is board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
