In addition to his full-time practice of Dermatology at the Indian River Skin & Cancer Center, Dr. McDonald is an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at Florida State University. A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. McDonald completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital. He then went on to complete his residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology & a Fellow of the American Society of MOHS Surgery, he is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) as well as in Internal Medicine.
Named a 2021 Top Doctor by Castle Connelly, Dr. McDonald has served as the President of the Indian River County Medical Society. He has also served as Head of the Department of Dermatology at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
