Her prior appointments include a physician at Sanford Health (July 2017 – April 2019) and the Medical Director at Sweetwater Memorial Hospital (August 2016 – June 2017).

Board certified in occupational and environmental medicine, Dr. Mitchell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM). The ABPM is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties that issues “certificates of special knowledge” in the specialty of preventive medicine.

Among her professional affiliations include the Medical Review Officer Certification Council and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
