Dr. Jonathan Fellus is a Morristown, New Jersey-based neurologist and clinical researcher with an interest in the pharmacological treatment of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional disorders, especially from traumatic and other types of brain injury. Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Neurobiology and medical degree from Rutgers’ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then went on to complete his residency in neurology at Pennsylvania Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Finally, he completed his fellowship in neurorehabilitation at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Kernan Rehabilitation Hospital.
Prior to opening Advanced NeuroCare in 2012, he served as Director of Rehabilitation at Meadowlands Hospital, and Director of Brain Injury Services at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Moreover, he spent a combined nine years as a Scientific Advisor and Chief Medical Officer with the International Brain Research Foundation, and co-founded the Moulay Ali Institute for Rehabilitation in Marrakech, Morocco, in 2008. In addition to those not-for-profits, he also worked with The Center for Neurologic Studies in San Diego, CA. and The Kurzweil Accelerating Intelligence Network. Dr. Fellus also performs forensic evaluations for medico-legal purposes, and has appeared as a media expert on TV, radio, and print outlets.
