Watson, he honed his skills in a specialized setting, gaining valuable experience in both nonoperative and operative treatment methods. His training emphasized complex forefoot, hindfoot, and ankle reconstruction, as well as sports-related pathology and arthroscopy.

An active member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, he has made significant contributions to the field through his publications, presentations, and lectures at national conferences. His expertise and dedication to advancing the field have been recognized, with his work being published in the prominent orthopedic journal, Foot & Ankle International.
