He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at the prestigious Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology from Rutgers University.
As a medical student, Dr. Rovner was a member of the American Medical Student Association Recruitment Award in 2000 and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He was on the Dean’s List at Rutgers University for seven semesters. Before this, he was the recipient of the Norman and Syril Reitman Pre-Med Scholarship from 1996 until 1997.
