He furthered his training with a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by an additional fellowship in adolescent and young adult hip preservation surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in orthopedic surgery through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
In good standing with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Strassberg is an active member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (Fellow), the New Jersey Orthopedic Society, the American Medical Academy, the Medical Society of New Jersey, the Morris County Medical Society, and the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society.
