Julie is a certified family nurse practitioner serving as the Director of Cancer Research at the Prisma Health Cancer Institute in Greenville, South Carolina. Specializing in hematology and medical oncology, she desires to contribute to research and science in an effort to advance treatment, screening and prevention efforts in the fight against cancer.

Teaching students, Julie serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville.
A Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) holds certification and provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and body systems. FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.
On a more personal note, Julie believes in continuing her education, always staying current and relevant, and serving as a preceptor to younger nursing professionals.
