From 2011 to 2013, she actively participated in grand rounds and glaucoma training at UC Berkeley, aiding California optometrists in obtaining glaucoma certification.
Taking a brief hiatus from clinical practice between 2014 and 2017, Dr. Gilford delved into the ophthalmic medical device industry, collaborating closely with cataract surgeons to optimize surgical outcomes for patients. Her experience in the field allows her to stay updated on cutting-edge cataract surgery technologies, enabling her to offer informed discussions on surgical options tailored to each patient’s ocular health needs. She seamlessly integrates her diverse background and knowledge into her current practice, ensuring the highest standard of care for her patients.
Committed to delivering exceptional eye care, Dr. Gilford holds the distinction of being a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry (ABO). The ABO is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of healthcare through board certification of optometrists in the United States.
