Dr. Grumbach is a fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologist specializing in body imaging and ultrasound. She joined Fairfax Radiological Consultants PC in May of 1999, operating out of Fairfax MRI Center, Fairfax Radiology Center of Ballston, Fairfax Radiology Center of Lansdowne, and Fairfax Radiology Center of Sterling.
An attending physician, she can also be found on staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, and Inova Loudoun Hospital.
Back in 1979, Dr. Grumbach graduated with her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to perform her internship at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in 1980, her residency in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1983, and her fellowship in ultrasound and CAT scan at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1984.
Dedicated to excellence, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Grumbach is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American College of Radiology.
