Awarded Top Women in Medicine for Podiatry in Western Massachusetts in 2020, Dr. O’Malley is the Co-Owner of East Point Foot and Ankle, P.C. in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. As such, she has surgical interests in achilles reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and forefoot deformities. She also has specialized training in certain bunion techniques, including lapiplasty and minimally invasive surgery.
A firm believer in patient education, Dr. O’Malley strives to build trusting relationships with her patients. She personalizes her treatment plans with a focus on conservative management before most surgical interventions.
She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AACFAS). Dr. O’Malley is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS) and board-certified through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). The ABPM exists to offer podiatric physicians a comprehensive board qualification and certification process.
Born and raised in southern Maine, Dr. O’Malley graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maine with a degree in Microbiology. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014.
Following medical school, she completed a three-year reconstructive surgical residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts where she served as the chief resident in her third year. She assisted with rearfoot and forefoot reconstructive surgeries in partnership with fellow orthopedic-trained foot and ankle surgeons and the hospital’s 20 podiatrists. She also performed surgeries at UMASS Memorial Medical Center and participated in wound care/hyperbaric oxygen therapy at SVH Center for Wound Healing.
Having always had an interest in medicine, science, and helping people, it was podiatry that gave Dr. O’Malley a combination of all of that, plus the benefit of being able to conduct surgical procedures. She attributes her success to the support of her family, all of whom encouraged her throughout her schooling.

In her spare time, Dr. O’Malley enjoys rooting for all New England sports (Go Pats!). She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her husband, sister, and two dogs, Baylor and Darby.
