A board-certified interventional cardiologist, Dr. Griffith is making a significant impact in the field of cardiovascular medicine through his exceptional expertise and dedication to patient care. As the founder of My Heart Doctor in Statesboro, Georgia, Dr. Griffith has established a thriving practice known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in cardiac care. He offers a range of procedures, including cardiac catheterization, cardiac defibrillator implantation, coronary angioplasty, and other interventional cardiology services, ensuring his patients receive the highest standard of care.

With an impressive educational background, he received his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, he has held key leadership positions in the medical community, serving as the Executive Director of the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center and as a Medical Officer at JFL. His involvement in organizations such as the American Medical Association, the Virgin Islands Medical Society, and the Caribbean Cardiac Society underscores his commitment to advancing cardiovascular care on a global scale.

Serving as the former Chief Executive Officer of the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, Dr. Griffith established the first interventional cardiology program in the region in 2002. His groundbreaking work included performing the first coronary angioplasty and implanting the first cardiac defibrillator in the Virgin Islands. His affiliations with esteemed medical centers like Memorial Health University Medical Center, Effingham Health System, Burke Health, and East Georgia Regional Medical Center further demonstrate Dr. Griffith’s dedication to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge cardiac care to his patients.

Moreover, his influence reached international borders, as he played a pivotal role in training the cardiac catheterization laboratory staff in Guyana and proctoring milestone procedures in countries like St. Lucia and Tortola.
