Throughout her academic career, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in 1981, and earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1990. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in internal medicine at Allegheny General Hospital, Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1993.
On a professional level, Dr. Davis-Seagle is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the South Carolina Medical Association, and the Charleston County Medical Society.
Among her other roles, she is the Chair of the Performance Improvement Committee, and serves on the Peer Review Committee and the Medical Executive Committee at East Cooper Regional Medical Center. In the past, she has been affiliated with Roper Medical Center, and Trident Medical Center.
Among her prior academic appointments, Dr. Davis-Seagle served as an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina.
