Kimberly’s journey into nursing began at Mesa Community College, where she laid the groundwork for her medical career. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing, expanding her expertise and ensuring she is equipped with the latest medical knowledge. In addition to her nursing qualifications, Kimberly pursued business studies at the University of Phoenix and completed a Medical Assistant program at Pima Community College, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Every day in the Burn ICU presents unique challenges, and Kimberly is grateful for the incredible colleagues who support her and her patients. Her deep compassion for those she cares for drives her commitment to providing the best possible outcomes, and she takes immense pleasure in educating patients and their families about maintaining healthy and fulfilling lifestyles.

Interestingly, nursing is Kimberly’s second career. Prior to her journey in healthcare, she explored different avenues before discovering her true passion for nursing. Over the past seven years, she has embraced her role with enthusiasm, actively participating in the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses, where she collaborates with other professionals to enhance surgical care practices.

When she is not at the hospital, Kimberly dedicates her time to community service, believing it is a privilege to give back to those around her. Whether volunteering at local organizations or participating in health awareness events, she is committed to fostering healthier communities.
