With over a decade of experience in skilled nursing, Kiran has dedicated her career to improving patient care and empowering the next generation of nurses.
Kiran’s journey in nursing began with an associate degree in Nursing from Santa Rosa Junior College in December 2010. Her quest for knowledge and excellence didn’t stop there; she went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University, completing her studies in December 2015. These academic achievements laid a solid foundation for her career, which has predominantly focused on skilled nursing.
Currently serving as the Director of Nursing at a post-acute rehabilitation center, her passion for skilled nursing is evident in her leadership style and dedication to patient care. Her areas of expertise include gerontology, legal nurse consulting, and nursing education, which she effectively integrates into her day-to-day responsibilities. Kiran’s commitment to excellence has not only benefited her patients but has also inspired her colleagues and students alike.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Kiran is an active member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC), where she continues to expand her knowledge and network within the nursing community.
On a more personal note, she attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family and the motivation she receives from those around her. She believes that her lifelong passion for nursing is the driving force behind her achievements. “Every day in nursing is an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life,” Kiran states. “I am grateful for the support I have received, which fuels my desire to educate and mentor future nurses.”
In her free time, Kiran enjoys spending quality time with her family, indulging in Indian movies, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
