To stay up to date in her field, Lane is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. She attributes her success to her education, experience, and desire to assist other nurses in their success. 

A registered nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties.
