A proud Miami native, Dr. Chiriboga graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude, from Florida International University in 2013. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2018.
Furthering her training, she performed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in 2021, and then stayed on for an extra year working with the Medical Education Department as Chief Resident.
Board-certified in general pediatrics, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Holding fellowship status, Dr. Chiriboga is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
In addition, she is an active member of the American Medical Association.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
Dr. Chiriboga’s work has been published in peer-reviewed articles and she has presented at medical conferences. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
