Dr. Faisal Sayeed is a very experienced physician who has been in practice for over 28 years. His career in medicine started in 1990 when he graduated from the Government Medical College of Kashmir in Srinagar, India. After moving to the United States he completed an internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic of Rochester, Minnesota and a further residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. Dr. Sayeed then remained in New Jersey to complete his fellowship at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Dr. Sayeed is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and he provides a wide range of anesthesiology services. He is particularly renowned, however, as an expert in interventional pain management and in pediatric pain medicine. Conditions treated by him include migraines, fibromyalgia, neck, back and pelvic pain, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, herniated disc, and neuralgia. Expert procedures undertaken by Dr. Sayeed range from trigger point injection to peripheral nerve block.
