Dr. Michael E. Behen is a highly respected and experienced Psychologist, having been in practice for over two decades. His career in medicine began in when he graduated with his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in clinical psychology from Wayne State University in Michigan. After medical school, Dr. Behen completed his clinical internship with Children’s Center of Wayne County, in Michigan. Driven to further his expertise and knowledge, he undertook his fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, PET Center.
Dr. Behen has dedicated his life to delivering compassionate care. He is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. With a passion for his work, Dr. Behen is noted for his expertise in Comprehensive neurocognitive and behavioral evaluations and advanced multimodal brain imaging tools in order to identify the functional and structural neural correlates of various developmental (autism spectrum disorder, social communication problems, language disorder, motor problems), neurologic (Sturge-Weber Syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis), and psychiatric (Tourette’s Disorder, depression, attention deficit problems) disorders.
