A highly respected figure in the field of forensic psychology, Dr. Ray Hendrickson, is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University Seattle in Washington, sharing his expertise in forensic psychology, ethics, intelligence, and various treatment and assessment courses with students. He brings over three decades of invaluable experience and expertise, significantly contributing to the fields of law and psychology throughout his distinguished career.

Dr. Hendrickson has forged an impressive path, beginning with 31 years of practicing law in California, where he earned his PhD in Psychology from Alliant International University. His commitment to service is evident in his extensive work with individuals with developmental disabilities, which included a 13-year role in a private clinical psychology practice in Irvine, California. 

In 2004, after retiring from law, Dr. Hendrickson continued to make an impact in psychology as a contract psychologist with the California Department of Corrections, serving facilities in Lancaster and Corcoran. His dedication to forensic psychology deepened when he joined the Center for Forensic Services at Western State Hospital (WSH) and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) as a forensic evaluator in 2006.

Dr. Hendrickson’s leadership abilities have been recognized throughout his career, highlighted by his role as the Director of the WSH Postdoctoral Fellowship Committee from 2010 to 2018, where he shaped the next generation of forensic psychologists. His previous teaching experience includes serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington’s School of Medicine, where he provided instruction in psychiatry and behavioral sciences. Additionally, he taught various law courses at the University of California, Irvine, for over 15 years, focusing on critical areas including evidence, legal procedures, and family law.
