Dr. Michael Parra is a highly respected and experienced physician, having been in practice for over three decades. His career in medicine began in 1984 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Parra completed his residency with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Driven to further his expertise and knowledge, he undertook his fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in the subspecialty fields of Hematology and Oncology. He has served a guest lecturer in multiple conferences and presentations, including a recent talk in Dubai in early 2018 entitled
“Optimum Allergy Solutions’ Test and Treat Program for Allergies and Asthma” at the request of the DIAD health authority from Dubai, UAE, and the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Parra has certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he has dedicated his life to delivering compassionate care. He is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. With a passion for his work, Dr. Parra is noted for his expertise in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine, including Laboratory Medicine, Medical Affairs, inpatient and outpatient in collaboration with managed care and major US healthcare insurers for physician-based patient programs, and has served as Medical Director or Board member in several of the largest independent physician associations in the state of Colorado.
