He is currently working as Professor of Medicine; Clinical Chief of Gastroenterology/Director of Hepatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.
Dr. Rustgi keeps current with the newest developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field having been awarded the National Research Service Award in Gastroenterology.
