Dr. Rustgi also completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Stanford University, as well.
Dr. Rustgi is renowned in his field having published key findings on liver diseases, in particular, hepatitis A, B, and C.With a passion for his work, Dr. Rustgi is the co-author of five books, as well as 82 articles and over 130 abstracts and has been published in leading journals in his field. He is currently working as Professor of Medicine; Clinical Chief of Gastroenterology/Director of Hepatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.
Dr. Rustgi keeps current with the newest developments, guidelines, and procedures in his field having been awarded the National Research Service Award in Gastroenterology.
