After medical school, Dr. Stewart completed his internship and residency training with the Louisiana State University – Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Stewart is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he is determined to enhance his patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. He delivers expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide array of conditions, and is noted for his expertise in all facets of sports medicine. Moreover, Dr. Stewart continues to serve as a Team Physician for the Tulane Department of Athletics, and he is the current Director of Education for the Louisiana Sports Medical Society.
