Her residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center culminated in her role as Administrative Chief Resident from 1993 to 1994. In 2022, she further solidified her expertise by becoming a Fellow in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Active in several professional organizations, Dr. Kardos is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of various surgical societies, including the San Francisco Medical Society, the San Francisco Gynecological Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, and the Society of Robotic Surgery.
