Rebecca graduated with her Nursing degree and certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the University of Montana in 1995, giving her over two decades of experience in her field. To stay up to date in her field, Rebecca remains a professional member of the Montana Nurses Association.
Rebecca currently practices as a clinic nurse with a provider who specializes in Neuromuscular Disorders such as ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy within Providence St. Patrick Hospital. She holds an expertise in Oncology, Transitional Care, Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, and Spine and Pain.
Rebecca chose to pursue nursing as a career as she has always been interested in helping others for as long as she can remember. She attributes her professional success to truly enjoying working with people and enjoying what she does. She learns something new almost every day because in nursing you never know it all. She has a new opportunity each day to make a difference in someone’s life at a critical time in theirs. Each day is a learning experience and she enjoys being challenged to be a better caregiver with each patient she interacts with.
A Licensed Practical Nurse works under the supervision of doctors and Registered Nurse, performing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the nurses.
When not working, Rebecca enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandkids.
