Devynn Polochak attended Canada College in Redwood, CA and became a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in Fremont, CA. She received certificates for both Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and IV Therapy. Her PALS training consisted of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.

Devyn Polochak currently is employed with Uplift Family Services, California’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider, serving more than 30,000 children and their family members annually. The facility works with children and teens with complex behavioral health issues and provides support to help them recover from child abuse, severe neglect, addiction and poverty. For youth that exit our programs, more than 90 percent are living in the community, staying in school and remaining out of trouble.

Prior to her current position, she spent 2 years in Pediatric Recovery at Scribbles and Giggles Pediatric Day Health Center. The facility  is dedicated to providing nursing services in a day care and nighttime setting along with and early intervention to children with special and medical needs.

This LVN has experience with feeding tubes, tracheostomies ventilators, seizure disorders, nebulizer treatments, ostomy care and other medical needs. Additionally, she has served as Emergency Medical Technician for three years with Westmed Ambulance Service.
