With over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and an unmatched compassionate approach to pediatric care.
Before embarking on her professional journey, the doctor earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1995. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1991. Her extensive training and experience in pediatrics have equipped her with advanced skills in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, making her a valuable asset to PM Pediatric Care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Garcia has held several key positions that highlight her dedication to pediatric care. Most recently, she served as an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Saint Agnes Hospital, where she provided critical care to young patients from 2006 to 2018.
Additionally, she has worked in various capacities, including as a primary care pediatrician at Waldorf Pediatrics and in private practice at Clarksburg Pediatrics. Her diverse experience in both emergency and primary care settings has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of children in various health situations.
An expert in her field, Dr. Garcia is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds medical licenses in both Maryland and California. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Pediatrics, where she actively engages with fellow practitioners to promote the well-being of children nationwide.
In addition to her medical expertise, she is committed to philanthropic endeavors, including her ongoing support of Children International, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children living in poverty.
