Lovette is a retired Navy nurse with a background in medical-surgical nursing, internal medicine, family medicine and forensic nursing. Currently, she serves her patients at Big Bend Regional Health Center in Alpine, Texas. She provides diagnosis and treatment for various acute and chronic medical conditions and diseases, including sprains, fractures, infections, viruses, hypertension, hormone imbalance, and thyroid dysfunction.
To begin her career, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Hawaii Pacific University. From there, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from South University. She is board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Forensic Nurse (AFN-BC), and is an Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-A).
In order to remain up to date in her field, Lovette maintains a professional membership with The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
On a more personal note, she attributes her success to being able to help people live their best life. When she is not working, she enjoys photography, movies, road trips, traveling, reading, and working with teenagers. During her 26 years in the military, she enjoyed learning how different cultures incorporated health practices in their daily lives.
