After graduating with her medical degree from the University of Montemorelos in Mexico in August of 1992, Dr. Lopez relocated to the United States to complete her residency in family medicine at Phoenix Baptist Family Medicine Center (at Phoenix Baptist Hospital) in Texas in 2004.
For the purpose of advancing her professional development, she became board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
To date, the doctor remains a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Society for Public Administration.
