Dr. Lydia Shajenko is a highly respected and experienced physician, having been in practice for over two decades. Her acclaimed career in medicine began in 1997, when she graduated with both her Medical Degree and PhD from the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. After medical school, she completed her General Surgery/Neurosurgery internship with the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, followed by her Neurology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Shajenko undertook her Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at New York University.
Dr. Shajenko is double board certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, and she is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care and support in order to ensure the most optimal results. She provides expert treatment for a wide array of conditions including head trauma, concussions, dizziness, migraines, neck and back pain, seizure disorders, epilepsy, carpal tunnel, and neuropathy, among others.
