Dr. Maxwell is an attending anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). CHOP is the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Dr. Maxwell received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She then went on to complete her residency in pediatrics and her residency in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. She also completed her fellowship in anesthesia and obstetric anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
Dr. Maxwell is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Maxwell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
