Dr. Prasad is an experienced podiatrist and trained surgeon who is passionate about preventing and treating foot problems to eliminate the need for surgery whenever possible. He is the owner & operator of Garden State Foot & Ankle Group in Toms River, New Jersey.

Focusing on disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower leg, Dr. Prasad is one of the only surgeons in the area trained to perform the STAR Total Ankle Joint Replacement and Wireless Hammer Toe Repair, providing a quicker recovery time. He also uses the latest technology to perform endoscopic plantar fasciotomy. Dr. Prasad treats diabetic wounds both in the office and at the wound care center at Clara Maass Medical Center using the latest technology and surgical techniques to heal wounds and prevent limb loss.
Locally, he is on staff at Clara Maass Medical Center, Community Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, New Jersey Surgery Center, and Metropolitan Surgery Center.
Born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Prasad completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. His surgical training was completed at both Our Lady of Mercy in the Bronx and St. Vincent’s Hospital Brooklyn-Queens. He then continued with advanced training in foot and ankle surgery with nationally-renowned surgeon, Dr. Stanley Kalish, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Feeling that Ocean County was a great place to begin his career and raise a family, Dr. Prasad opened his practice originally in Lakewood, and recently moved to his current location in Toms River.
