An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Alongside his clinical role, he serves as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he trains medical students, interns and residents.
