Dr. Rogg is a respected family physician who splits her professional time between being one of the most popular physicians at OnPoint Urgent Care and working at Odyssey Family Medicine in Centennial, Colorado.
After high school, Dr. Rogg attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, where she graduated among the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in German. In addition to her studies at Rensselaer, she spent a year abroad studying at the Eidgenössische Technische Fachhochschule in Zurich, Switzerland.
In August of 1992, she entered the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree in 1996. Thereafter, she received post-graduate training in family medicine for three years through the Ventura County Family Medicine Residency in Ventura, California.
Having practiced medicine since 1998, Dr. Rogg’s medical work includes maternal health research in rural Haiti during medical school, many years working in emergency departments in California and rural Colorado, volunteering in rural India, and doing family medicine in Oregon, including care of hospitalized patients. She has worked in an urgent care setting close to home since 2012.
Skilled and compassionate in her approach to care, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
Having observed the medical system from varying perspectives, Dr. Rogg became convinced that the medical profession needs to approach patient care from a different direction. She began researching and training in other therapies, including bioidentical hormone therapy, functional approach to care—as viable, less invasive, more proactive, treatment avenues. It is with this wide-ranging background that she decided to found Odyssey Family Medicine to help patients significantly improve their health and their lives.
Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
The mountains brought Dr. Rogg and her family to Colorado in 2010. She has a husband and three beautiful boys that keep her busy. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, skiing, and bicycling. In addition to her diverse medical background, she is conversant in Spanish, French, and German.
