Dr. Peko-Rios graduated with her Medical Degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 1990, giving her nearly three decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she completed her Psychiatry residency with the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. Wanting to further her training she then completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship with the Children’s National Medical Center – George Washington University.
Dr. Peko-Rios is dual certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Peko-Rios currently practices as an Adult & Child Psychiatrist with her private practice and she is also affiliated with the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Prince George’s Medical Center, Adult Behavioral Health Program, Constance Nicole Flanagan, Proyecto Salud Clinic, and Contemporary Family Service Inc.
