Maintaining the highest level certifications in her field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Furthermore, she is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM). The ABNM is the primary certifying organization for nuclear medicine in the United States, and certifies physicians as specialists in the practice of nuclear medicine.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Poulin is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
