She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University, followed by her PhD in clinical psychology from the same university. Dr. Ruebsamen completed her pre-doctoral psychology internship with Family and Children’s Services of Silicon Valley, formerly known as the Adult and Child Guidance Center. She then went on to complete her postdoctoral psychology internship with Family and Children’s Services in San Jose, California.
Dr. Ruebsamen is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Association of Ethno – Psychoanalysis, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, the World Association for Infant Mental Health, HealthRight International, and the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
Dr. Ruebsamen attributes her success to her passion for her field, as well as her motivation to provide quality care. Dr. Ruebsamen is a global humanitarian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading.
