After obtaining his Medical Degree Dr. Sawka completed his internship with the West Suburban Hospital Medical Center. To further his education, Dr. Sawka completed his residency with Sparrow Hospital. Following his internship, he undertook his fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma Research with Boston City Hospital in Boston. Dr. Sawka is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Sawka is currently on staff at Beaumont Hospital Henry Ford Hospital.  Family medicines physicians offer a full range of services including physical exams, wellness care for men, women and children, general and chronic care for the elderly, and much more. Dr. Sawka also performs DOT physicals and is a Civil Surgeon which allows him to perform immigration physicals. His office also specializes in Sculpture body sculpting and non-surgical fat reduction.
