Dr. Jachtorowycz ultimately performed a fellowship in pelvic surgery-oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio (1991 – 1992). Prior to medical school, he attended Loyola University of Chicago and received a BAchelor of Science degree in Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1983.

Subsequent to his training, Dr. Jachtorowycz received board-certification in obstetrics and gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health. 

Dr. Jachtorowycz is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed to practice in the state of Chicago. In addition to English, he speaks Ukrainian.
